Barcelona Zoo is located in the iconic Parc de la Ciutadella, in the city centre, and is home to an impressive variety of animals from different habitats. From mammals to exotic birds, reptiles and amphibians, this zoo offers a fascinating journey through the diversity of the world's fauna. In addition, the Zoo promotes the conservation of native and exotic species through educational and awareness programs.

The zoo is open all year round, although opening hours vary depending on the season: 

  • From 1 January to 28 March: 10:00 to 17:00. 
  • From 2 March to 15 May: 10:00 to 18:00. 
  • From 16 May to 13 September: 10:00 to 19:00. 
  • From 14 September to 24 October: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. 
  • From 25 October to 31 December: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 
  • 25 December: Open until 2:00 p.m.
