MACBA-Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art

The museum houses one of Barcelona's most important collections of contemporary art: the MACBA collection – a permanent exhibition which is constantly being added to in order to maintain its vitality and dynamism. The MACBA collection comprises more than 100 works by artists from Catalonia, the rest of Spain and abroad, challenging the boundaries of art while suggesting new ways of interacting with the space. It invites visitors to explore the museum at their own pace and create their own itineraries to connect with the poetic intention of each work.

  • 25/9-24/6: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: 11am-7.30pm. Saturday, from 10am to 8pm (Saturday afternoon free admission). Sunday, public holidays, from 10am to 3pm.
