This classic spot in the upper part of town is enjoying a fresh makeover. The new décor, its best yet, combines a well-laid-out bistro area with secluded round tables and a cosy terrace. The menu is simple but appealing, with reasonable prices and generous portions. It offers starters to share, such as potato salad or oxtail bomba, and main courses such as stroganoff meatballs, fricandó stew or macaroni à la cardinal. The wine list is interesting, though slightly on the pricey side. All signs point to it becoming the new place to be in the neighbourhood.
