The Barcelona–Sitges International Vintage Car Rally is an annual parade of historic vehicles manufactured up to the 1920s. Following a display in the city, the cars wind along the coastal road to Sitges, curving between cliffs to the sound of applause. Drivers, dressed in period attire, vie as much for elegance as for mechanical originality. Declared an Event of National Tourist Interest, the rally offers a living portrait of the past, combining engines, lace and the sea. It is a serene, visual and auditory celebration of engineering with style.

This is good to know

Originally conceived as a test of mechanical endurance for vintage cars, the Barcelona–Sitges International Vintage Car Rally has been held since 1959 to celebrate these feats of engineering.
Drivers do more than drive; they parade. Their period attire can earn them the Grand Prize for Elegance, awarded by a panel of fashion experts.
Awards are also given for the best-preserved vehicles with the highest number of original parts. Here, every bolt counts.
