The Setmana del Vi Català is an annual celebration of Catalonia’s wine culture. Over seven days, wineries, wine bars and restaurants across the region open their doors with tastings, pairings, guided tours, talks and live music. The festival brings Catalan wine closer to the public as an expression of landscape, craftsmanship and shared heritage. It’s an invitation to explore stories, people and places – one glass at a time.

This is good to know

The headline experiences – rooftop tastings, live-music pairings or visits to tiny family-run wineries – have very limited spaces and usually sell out before they even hit your diary.
Throughout the week, many specialist shops and online platforms run promotions on Catalan wines. It’s the perfect chance to stock your larder with the region in a bottle.
Although the grape harvest typically takes place in August and September, the festival is held in October/November to showcase the season’s first wines.
