The Foundation offers various activities and resources so that blind or visually impaired people can enjoy the visit:
-Tactile model of the building, scale 1:100, labeled in ink and braille.
-Guided tour of the building with tactile models and explanatory models of the reinforced concrete construction process, labeled in ink and braille
-Interactive tours around the work of Joan Miró (sculptures, paintings, and engravings) with supporting tactile materials
-For blind people who request it, the possibility to touch some sculptures (with gloves provided)
-Loan of ocular lenses for visitors who request them at reception, and lighted magnifying glasses in the rooms to consult the Foundation’s catalogues and publications.
-Accessible consultation area with computers from which you can access Play Miró (interactive online content about the life and work of Joan Miró), with videos and specific activities for blind people. Play Miró is also accessible from the Fundació Joan Miró website.
