The exhibition “Like a Starling Dance. MACBA Collection: Thirty Years and Infinite Ways of Being” is a MACBA showcase celebrating the museum’s thirtieth anniversary with a fresh perspective on its collection. Eschewing chronological order, it brings together over 200 works by twentieth- and twenty-first-century artists, weaving connections between subjectivity, the body, memory, and community. Inspired by the collective movement of starlings, the exhibition presents a living collection: plural, ever-changing, and always in relation.
