The exhibition “The Nabis: from Bonnard to Vuillard” at La Pedrera is the first in Barcelona devoted to this key movement of modernity. Away from the bustle of Paris, the Nabis found poetry in everyday life, depicting gardens, interiors and portraits full of subtle detail. Through colour, form and rhythm, their work encourages a more intimate, attentive gaze, marked by a strong decorative sensibility. An art that does not simply decorate but becomes part of everyday life.
