The exhibition “Cristina Lucas. E-conmotion” at Museu Tàpies addresses the four industrial revolutions and their effects on the economy, culture, and forms of power. Through materials such as coal, oil, silicon, and microchips, the artist traces a critical history of technological progress, from the steam engine to artificial intelligence. The exhibition argues that each revolution changed not only production but also transformed politics, bodies, data, and the way we imagine the future.

This is Good to know

The tour incorporates scents created to accompany the works and transforms the industrial revolution into a sensory experience, thanks to the Fundació Ernesto Ventós.
