The Museu d’Història de Catalunya does not have architectural barriers and offers free guided tours on Sundays at midday, with specific activities for people with intellectual disabilities. Admission is free for accredited people with disabilities, unemployed individuals, and people over 65. Group visits require prior booking.

The building is fully accessible, with step-free entrance and automatic doors, and the floors are connected by ramps and wide elevators. Some scenographies, such as the castle tower and the Romanesque church, are not accessible for wheelchair users, but others, like the Arab waterwheel, have been adapted to allow wheelchair access. There are adapted toilets on the ground floor and the fourth floor, where the café is located, and a wheelchair loan service is available.
