Nights at Palau Güell

Access and parking: The Palau Güell is very close to the Drassanes Metro station (green L3), which has a lift. However, right in front of the building there is a parking space reserved for people with disabilities. To reserve it, you must call by phone and provide the registration number and model of the vehicle, as well as the day of the visit. Entrance and reception: The ticket office is located outside the building, on the sidewalk. The ticket office has protective glass and is 110 cm high. The main entrance has an isolated step of 5 cm high, with no alternative. The step is marked with two contrasting color stripes that warn of the difference in height. The customer service counter has two heights: one of 110 cm and the other of 74 cm. Mobility inside: The Palau Güell, due to the characteristics of the building, is not entirely accessible by wheelchair. However, there is an adapted itinerary that allows you to visit the most prominent parts of the building: the main floor, the main floor, the bedrooms and the attic. To do this itinerary, the Palau Güell has a small elevator (door width 60 cm; interior depth 78 cm by 83 cm wide). There is a loan service for wheelchairs adapted to the dimensions of the elevator. If the person's wheelchair exceeds the maximum dimensions of the elevator, it is necessary to change the chair. The specialized service staff facilitates the transfer of the chair. If you need continuous accompaniment throughout the tour, you must notify us in advance before the visit. The spaces that cannot be accessed by elevator are: the roof, the mezzanine, the stables and the midday terrace. The stables, located in the basement, can only be reached by a ramp 26 meters long and with a 16% incline. There are seats and rest areas along the route. Toilets: There are adapted toilets on the ground floor. The door is 77 cm wide. There is a folding support bar to the left of the toilet and another fixed one to the right. There is a free space under the sink that allows frontal approach. The toilets also have a baby changing table.
