The Kyiv Ballet presents "The Nutcracker" at the Teatre Coliseum, one of the most emblematic works in the classical repertoire. Tchaikovsky’s music accompanies the story of Clara, her mysterious nutcracker and a fantastic journey populated by soldiers, creatures and storybook characters. The production revives the classic choreography by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov and brings together some of the work’s most recognisable passages, including the “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy” and the “Grand Pas de Deux”. A classic that opens the door to its own world of fantasy every Christmas.
