The exhibition “Vuit” at La Virreina Centre de la Imatge presents Frederic Amat’s creative dialogues with poets, writers, playwrights, and philosophers. Since the 1970s, the Barcelona-based artist has collaborated with figures such as J. V. Foix, Octavio Paz, Guillermo Cabrera Infante, and Chantal Maillard. The exhibition showcases words, images, lines, and questions, and includes “Al filo” ("On the Edge"), a previously unseen short film created specifically for the exhibition. Here, the images don't illustrate, instead they strike up a conversation.

This is... good to know

The exhibition is free to enter, so there's no need to book in advance. Even so, it's a good idea to check opening times before you go.
