Avinguda dels Montanyans, 26 - Parc de Montjuïc
Urban spaces
The Jardí Botànic Històric is a green refuge founded in 1930, preserving Mediterranean, Eurosiberian and mountain species within its own microclimate. Tucked into a cool hollow on Montjuïc, it shelters ancient ferns, tall trees and botanical collections protected by natural earth and stone walls. Away from the pace of the city, its shaded paths invite a slower walk through biodiversity and history, with the castle silhouetted above and the distant sound of the sea in the background.
