The Parc Diagonal Mar is an urban space distinguished by its organic, innovative design, which sets it apart from the city’s other green areas. Designed by Miralles and Tagliablue in the late 1990s, it seamlessly combines sustainable contemporary architecture with landscaping in a strikingly natural manner. Along its winding paths, visitors encounter water features, pergolas, metal structures and sculptures. All are linked by a single element: water, which flows through an elevated tubular structure that winds across the park like a giant spider.

This is good to know

Located in the new Barcelona of the Fòrum, on the site of a former factory, the park spans 14 hectares divided into seven distinct areas, each designed to create a different sensation.
Alongside a football pitch and a dedicated skating zone, its real stars are the giant slides – so wide that the whole family can descend together.
