Located in the Eixample district, Librería Fabre is known as the oldest bookshop in Barcelona. Since 1860, it has preserved its charm as a haven for children’s and young adult literature, with shelves that also feature wooden toys and timeless favourites. Among storybooks and dolls, a small German section still remains – a legacy of a former owner. This is not a place you come simply to buy books, but to imagine, discover and, above all, delight in the pleasure of reading.

Among its small treasures, the bookshop holds a large collection of vintage Christmas postcards that are not listed online. You have to visit the shop to see and buy them.
