The Biblioteca Jaume Fuster is one of the major cultural venues in the Gràcia neighbourhood. Designed by Josep Llinàs and dedicated to the writer whose name it bears, it stands on the site of former metro depots and workshops. Its bright, geometric architecture engages with Plaça de Lesseps and the life of the neighbourhood. Inside, literature, comics and magazines share the space with exhibitions, talks and one of Barcelona’s most notable travel collections, alongside a historical collection devoted to the neighbourhood.
