Fallen Sky is a monumental sculpture by Beverly Pepper that emerges from the grass like a fallen fragment of sky. Created in 1991 for Parc de l’Estació del Nord, it brings together art, landscape and nature in a work that adapts to the terrain. Its weathered steel structure and large mosaic of blue stones evoke two elements deeply associated with Barcelona: the sky and the sea.

For photographs, it is best to visit in the afternoon, when the light enhances the blue stones of the mosaic and makes its dialogue with the sky more visible.
