Peix (The Fish) is a monumental sculpture designed by Frank Gehry for the 1992 Olympic Games. It stands beside Port Olímpic as a 56-metre steel structure that seems to shift between sea and sky. Its golden stainless steel panels catch the Mediterranean light, changing tone throughout the day and giving the surface an almost liquid quality. It evokes Barcelona’s maritime heritage in a contemporary language and has become part of the city’s Olympic legacy on the seafront.

Beneath the structure, leisure and dining spaces have been integrated, offering unusual viewpoints and a chance to take in its scale from street level.
