The garden at l’Antic Teatre is an unexpected terrace next to the Palau de la Música. Hidden behind an unassuming façade, this courtyard, centred on a large fig tree, offers a welcome sense of calm in the middle of the city. Artists, neighbours and students share the space in an atmosphere that feels informal and unpretentious. Drinks are reasonably priced and simple food is available, while the bustle of the city fades from view. A place you come across by chance and are drawn back to.

The entrance to the performance hall is right next to the bar. If you see people going in, a show is about to start.
The building is a former neoclassical palace built in 1650. It still stands today, with a different life inside.
