Casa Museu Gaudí is the architect’s former home in Park Güell, now a museum dedicated to his more personal world. He lived here for almost 20 years, surrounded by the forms, ideas and furniture he designed himself as he refined his architectural language. Originally intended as a show house for the park’s residential development, the building preserves original drawings, sculptures and furnishings that offer you a close insight into his creative process. Here, Modernisme is understood on a domestic scale, in the details and in the way the space is lived in.

This is good to know

The building is a modernista house designed by his friend and collaborator Francesc Berenguer, originally intended as a model home for the Park Güell residential project, when it was still planned as a private development.
Inside, you’ll find furniture designed by Gaudí for landmark buildings such as Casa Batlló, Casa Calvet and Casa Milà.
You can also visit the bedroom and studio where he worked during his final years, while continuing work on projects such as the Sagrada Família.
