El Born – Museu d’Història de Barcelona is a cultural and archaeological space dedicated to preserving and interpreting the memory of Barcelona in 1714. Set within the former market of El Born and beneath its striking 19th-century iron structure, it contains an exceptional archaeological site with the streets and houses of the neighbourhood of La Ribera, demolished after the Bourbon siege. The visit allows you to see the 18th-century urban layout up close, while exhibitions and activities broaden the perspective on local and national history, offering a more critical reading of it.
