The Fundació Fran Daurel is a contemporary art museum located in Poble Espanyol. It brings together a private collection spanning 20th- and 21st-century art through painting, sculpture and ceramics. Leading names from the Catalan art scene are shown alongside national and international artists in bright galleries, temporary exhibitions and an auditorium with a busy programme of events. The visit ends in an open-air garden where the works spill out into the landscape.

This is good to know

It spans three artistic generations, from surrealism to conceptual art, with a particular focus on modern Catalan work.
The foundation also includes a 3,500 m² outdoor sculpture garden, where large-scale works can be explored with a real sense of space and perspective.
