Museu Can Framis – Fundació Vila Casas

Guide dogs are allowed throughout the premises. The Museum has an elevator with buttons in Braille and raised relief, and acoustic signals. The exhibition rooms have homogeneous and non-glare lighting that facilitates the viewing of the works for people with low vision. There are no support materials printed in Braille. The museum offers the possibility of guided tours, of both the permanent collection and the temporary exhibitions.

Can Framis has no architectural barriers. Wheelchair accessible building. Wheelchair, walking stick and folding seat loan service. Ask at reception. Entrance and reception: The entrance on Carrer Llacuna has 2 ramps of 7 meters long and a 6% incline. The reception desk is 113 cm high. Mobility inside: The route through the interior of the museum does not present any difficulties in circulation. The spaces are wide enough to circulate and maneuver with a wheelchair. The pavement is homogeneous. There are seats and rest areas along the entire route. Toilets: There are adapted toilets on the ground floor and on the 1st floor. The door opens inwards and is 75 cm wide. There is a folding support bar to the right of the toilet and a fixed one to the left. Under the sink there is a free space that allows frontal approach.

The itinerary to follow is correctly indicated by means of posters, signs and pictograms. The museum presents a simple route and there is no possibility of getting lost. There are no dark areas that could generate fear.
