The Arenas de Barcelona is a former bullring transformed into a shopping centre offering shops, dining and panoramic views of the horizon. Located in Plaça d’Espanya, its Neo-Mudéjar architecture converses with an interior that features more than a hundred establishments, from shops and restaurants to a cinema and a gym. The 360° terrace caps off the experience with an urban vantage point that allows you to decipher the city from above, between Montjuïc and the constant hustle and bustle of the Eixample.

This is good to know

The bullring was originally opened in 1900 before closing in 1977. It was later transformed into today’s shopping venue, while retaining its iconic original façade.
Climbing up to the viewpoint at sunset is one of the best ways to take in Barcelona: the light falls across Montjuïc and bathes the skyline in warm hues.
On the rooftop, the bar-restaurant lets you linger with a drink in hand as the cityscape lights up and the pace shifts.
