Cereria Subirà is the city’s oldest candle shop. Stepping foot inside feels like a journey back in time. Founded in 1761, the shop preserves a nineteenth-century baroque-style interior with columns, female figures and a staircase that splits the store in two. Traditional candles, scented candles and handcrafted decorative pieces are all on offer here. After the Spanish Civil War, the Subirà family took over the tradition and has ensured that it still shines bright today.
