With more than 140 years of history, the Real Club Náutic de Barcelona is a living icon of nautical sport, also situated on the Moll d’Espanya. Here, sailing – both dinghy and cruiser – is practised, but the sea is also savoured from the terrace, navigation skills are learned and major regattas witnessed. Boasting one of the country’s most active sailing schools, a diverse social fleet and top-level sporting events, the club blends maritime tradition with the modernity of the urban port. It is far more than a marina: it is a meeting point between the Mediterranean, the city and those who know how to enjoy both.

This is good to know

The Real Club Náutico de Barcelona was the first yacht club in Spain to establish a permanent base in the port and to organise international regattas as early as the 19th century.
It also served as one of the support venues for the America’s Cup held in Barcelona in 2024.
If you visit at the weekend, head down to the pontoons at sunset: the reflection of the sails on the water, combined with views of Barcelona’s skyline, makes for the perfect postcard.
Although it is a private club, access to its terrace-restaurant is open to the public with advance reservation.
