The Campionat Internacional d’Hoquei de Reis is an international field hockey competition that opens Barcelona’s sporting calendar each year. Since 1949, it has brought together senior, youth and veteran teams from different countries at the Reial Club de Polo de Barcelona. The competition is demanding, as is the tradition behind it. In the stands, generations and memories overlap; on the pitch, experience meets emerging talent. There are no frills here: it stays focused on the hockey, in an event that has evolved without losing its identity.

This is good to know

Although it began as a senior tournament, it is now a benchmark for international youth hockey, with a strong focus on the Under-16 and Under-18 categories.
