The Territorial Meteorological Centre of Catalonia is a building constructed for the 1992 Olympic Games in the Olympic Village. It is conceived as a circular volume of five storeys that responds with its own logic to its coastal surroundings. The façade is divided into two parts: a base of exposed concrete and upper levels clad in marble. At its centre, a circular courtyard nine metres in diameter organises the light, circulation, and internal life of the building.
