The Hyatt Regency Barcelona Tower is a 105-metre-tall hotel designed by Richard Rogers. Its design embraces a high-tech aesthetic, featuring a metallic exoskeleton and external panoramic lifts that reveal the building’s structure and operation. The most distinctive element is the large glazed geodesic dome crowning the tower, cantilevered and shaping its silhouette. The use of steel and glass reinforces an architecture where engineering and form are expressed directly.

This is good to know

The dome, weighing 140 tonnes of steel and glass, was assembled at ground level and subsequently lifted to the top of the building.
