These churches form a medieval monumental complex in Parc de Vallparadís, a large green space in the city of Terrassa. Behind their stone walls, the Esglésies de Sant Pere reveal elements originating in the 6th century: austere apses, frescoes, capitals and altarpieces that evoke the essence of the earliest Paleochristian churches. The complex acts as a historical link between the Roman legacy and the emergence of Christianity on the peninsula.

This is good to know

Of all the churches, the Església de Sant Miquel is the one that has best preserved its original form. Both its ground plan and elevation remain intact, and the apse still contains a mural painting dating from the 6th century.
Today, this heritage site opens its doors to concerts and exhibitions, creating a link between medieval spirituality and contemporary artistic expression.
