The Torre de Collserola is a public viewpoint and telecommunications mast in the Collserola hills. At 115 metres high, it stands above the city as a slender structure in dialogue with the landscape. It has thirteen platforms housing its many antennas. The tenth, open to the public, offers a viewing deck reached by lift, with wide views over Barcelona and its surroundings.

This is good to know

On the clearest days, the view stretches for up to 70 kilometres, taking in the Mediterranean Sea, Montserrat and the Cadí-Moixeró range in a single sweeping panorama.
The tower was designed for the 1992 Olympic Games by British architect Norman Foster, who conceived this futuristic spire before being awarded the Pritzker Prize. Its purpose was technical; the result is pure vertical sculpture.
