Respect for the product defines Ricardo's cooking. From his small space come home-style recipes with a French touch and lots of flavour. The menu is varied and appetising, with carn d'olla croquettes, potatoes with Café de Paris sauce, artichokes and hearty stews such as chickpeas with pork scratchings and egg, as well as good meats. For dessert, the tarte tatin is a sure bet. Regulars from the neighbourhood, many of whom know each other, enjoy the friendly service. The restaurant is long and narrow, with a few linen-draped tables and a very pleasant terrace. A classic where enjoyment is guaranteed.
