This time-honoured classic is still going strong with Poldo Jr. at the helm. Patrons are locals; some consider it their private club. A place to see and be seen. Nice décor. Live piano music in the evenings, a tribute to the vintage 60s spirit. Impeccable cuisine with well-made and well-presented pasta dishes. Attentive, old-school staff. Interesting set lunch menu. Excellent dry Martinis. The kitchen closes late, making it perfect for after an evening at the cinema or theatre. A touch of complacency may have set in. There is a mix of generations, cocktails and vibes after dinner.
