Setmana de les Terrasses is an annual invitation to see Barcelona from above. For a few days, the rooftops and terraces of charming hotels open to the public and become small urban spaces in their own right. Each one offers something different, always with wide views over the city. From organic wine tastings to sunset yoga sessions, the week is a chance to look at Barcelona from another angle and spend time in places with their own distinct feel.

This is good to know

Check the full programme for more unusual activities such as cocktail pairings, outdoor cinema or live painting sessions. Many are free, though it is worth booking in advance, as some have very limited capacity.
Times vary: some activities take place during the day, but many work best at dusk or after dark. It is also a rare chance to access terraces that are usually closed to the public.
