Simple, open-plan and functional venue in the Eixample district. It offers traditional Catalan cuisine with a special focus on pork and its various preparations. They do hearty breakfasts, appetisers, lunches and dinners some days. Everything is adapted to the market and they have excellent surf and turf combinations. Highlights include potato salad, noodles with mantis prawn and shrimp, chickpea stew with pig’s ear and botifarra negra sausage topped with an egg and their outstanding grilled squid with Iberian pork jowl. A diverse wine list with nearly 900 references from various regions. Closed on weekends. A satisfying experience.
