Museu Frederic Marès

The entrance doors to the Museum are automatic and made of glass and have translucent white vinyls attached. The rest of the glass doors and windows adopt the same system or are identified with a red "dot". The Museum has a public elevator with capacity for 4 people with Braille numbering and visual directory. The explanatory panels and signage of the Museum meet the conditions of accessible reading (size, color and typography). Guide dogs are allowed to enter the Museum.

There are two ways to access the Museum: via Carrer dels Comtes, where there is an elevator, or via the courtyard of Plaça Sant Iu, where there is a stairlift. This platform has a bell to call the museum staff who will put it into operation. The Museum is fully accessible to visitors in wheelchairs, with the exception of floor minus 1, where the stone sculpture section is exhibited. There is an elevator that connects floors 0 to 3. The sculpture collection is located on floors 0 and 1, and the Collector's Office can be visited on floors 2 and 3. There are adapted toilets on floors 0 and 1. The Museum has wheelchairs for people who need them.
