La Primavera del Cava is a programme of wine-focused experiences centred on the culture of cava in the Penedès and other wine regions. Throughout May, wineries open their doors for walks through the vineyards and visits to underground cellars, alongside guided tastings and opportunities to meet the producers. Each glass offers a slower way into the landscape, where tradition and place come together in a more intimate setting, away from the crowds. It offers a clearer sense of what lies behind each bottle, beyond the tasting itself.

This is good to know

Many wineries host sunset concerts, photography workshops among the vines and walks in the surrounding countryside, bringing together art, landscape and wine.
Paired tastings go beyond the usual cured meats or bread with tomato, with more inventive combinations including artisan cheeses, craft chocolates and vegetarian dishes.
Places are limited, so it is best to book in advance. Activities are designed for small groups, allowing for a more personal experience.
