The Semàfor Lookout is a former 19th-century maritime signal building repurposed as a viewpoint overlooking El Prat beach. Elevated and open, its modern ruin aesthetic frames a 360° panorama from which to observe the unspoiled coastline and local wildlife. A wooden walkway leads to the main platform, designed for pausing and gazing. Here, architecture and history blend with the landscape in a balance rarely seen in the Mediterranean.

After serving as a signal tower, in 1910 it became the residence for the coast guards who patrolled the shoreline.
Its name derives from the optical signalling system using flags and movable parts to communicate with ships and alert the Montjuïc tower.
From the viewpoint, you can see La Ricarda beach, a protected area with no public access where birds and other species nest.
