But why is it called the Semàfor viewpoint if there is no traffic light?
Well, because back in 1887 the traffic here was maritime, and signals from the Delta del Llobregat to Montjuïc were sent using large red flags. Although this place is located next to El Prat Airport, you barely notice the planes — it’s hard to hear anything besides the roaring waves, the wind, and the seagulls.
