Bus (TMB)

Barcelona’s bus network is extensive, reliable and environmentally friendly, with over a thousand vehicles and more than a hundred routes, including express, local, neighbourhood and night services. All buses are fully accessible, with low floors, ramps and dedicated spaces. They also feature audio and visual announcements, braille and NaviLens technology. Tickets are integrated across the network with a 1 hour 15 minute transfer window, and there are several travel passes available, including the T-casual (10 journeys) and day tickets.

NitBus (AMB)

Barcelona’s night buses keep Barcelona and its metropolitan area moving after the metro closes. All vehicles are accessible, with ramps, wheelchair spaces and priority seating.

They include audio announcements for passengers with visual impairments and visual displays for passengers with hearing impairments. Assistance dogs (including guide dogs) are welcome, ensuring a safe and inclusive service for everyone travelling at night.

Most services run from around 10.40pm–11.40pm until roughly 5am–6am.

The Barcelona Bus Turístic is accessible for people with reduced mobility, with wheelchair access and reserved spaces on the lower deck. It also offers a multilingual audio guide for passengers with visual impairments, along with an induction loop system to support passengers with hearing impairments, ensuring a comfortable, safe and inclusive experience throughout the city tour.

Getting around Barcelona by car can be a practical option if you have mobility needs. The road network is well organised and clearly signposted, making it easier to drive and find your way around the city.

There are parking spaces reserved for people with reduced mobility (PRM), both on-street and in public and private car parks, many located close to key facilities and places you may want to visit. There are also regulated parking zones with specific conditions for permit holders, as well as step-free access routes from parking areas into the surrounding streets.
