Codorníu is one of the historic great houses of cava. Founded in 1551 in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, the winery established the traditional method as its hallmark and placed the Penedès region on the international sparkling wine map. Its modernist winery, designed by Josep Puig i Cadafalch, blends immense architecture with technical precision amid centuries-old vineyards. Visits and tastings offer insight into the process through a contemporary lens, while the culinary offerings amplify the experience, making each visit a sensory immersion in the culture and flavour of the Penedès.
