A typical bar, with a bustling seventies-style bar counter on one side and tables on the other, sets the scene. At the back, a spacious and peaceful grill house, presided over by glowing embers, offers an authentic, unpretentious cuisine through a short menu built on outstanding products. This is where Borja displays his culinary expertise. He has no need for luxury ingredients: an extraordinary rabbit or sardines gently kissed by the heat are more than enough. The pickled dishes, escalivada and pocha bans with partridge also shine, always accompanied by homemade sauces. The wine list is distinctive, with few well-known labels. A true delight.
